Getting To Munich City
There is a direct train from the Munich Airport to Munich Central Station. It takes about 40 minutes and you can walk to the hotels from there.
Tickets are approx. EUR13/person or EUR 28/group.
How to buy tickets:
1. Vending Machine at the Airport. They take credit cards but it’s always safe to have cash
2. You can order online at https://int.bahn.de/en or download the “DB Navigator” app. In most cases, this will require registration.
By Taxi or Uber/FreeNow
There is also Uber and FreeNow (more options). Those will be around EUR 50-70.
Car Rental
If you prefer to drive, all international car-rental agencies can be found at the airport.
Make sure to include your Flight # in the booking and give notice in case of delays. Cars are only held for 1-2 hours.
Getting To Obertauern
There will be a shuttle service from Munich to Obertauern. Please see below for details

Munich Airport – The closest international airport, approximately 3 hours from Obertauern
If you are arriving at Munich, make sure that you arrive before 1pm Germany time for the shuttle service
Salzburg Airport – The closest airport, approximately 1.5 hours by car.
If you arrive at Salzburg Airport, make sure that you arrive before 3pm Austria time for the shuttle service.

Please arrive before 2.30pm Germany time for the shuttle service.
